Profile Details: Bio, profile photo, skills, and service categories selected.
Verification Information (For Helpers): Selfie, government-issued ID, professional certificates, or other documentation you voluntarily upload for profile verification.
User Content: Job posts, messages sent via in-app chat, reviews, ratings, and any files (images, videos, PDFs) you choose to upload.
Communication Records: Correspondence with our support team.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
Usage Data: Data about your activity on the Services, including timestamps, features used, posts viewed, and interactions with other users.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, and mobile network information.
Location Information: Precise or approximate location data, derived from your IP address or (with your explicit permission) your mobile device's GPS. This is essential for showing you relevant local job posts and helper profiles.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including facilitating connections between Users and Helpers.
To authenticate your account and, for Helpers, to facilitate optional profile verification.
To enable communication between Users and Helpers via the in-app chat.
To personalize your experience, such as showing job posts and helper profiles within your geographic area.
To send you administrative information, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
To respond to your comments and inquiries and provide customer support.
To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities to improve our Services and develop new features.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or other prohibited activities.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

With Other Users: As a core function of the Services, your profile information (name, photo, skills, ratings) and User Content (job posts, chat messages within a conversation) are shared with other users to facilitate connections. Please be aware that any information you disclose in public posts or in chat becomes available to other users.
With Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data analysis, customer support, and email delivery. These providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks and are contractually obligated to protect it.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., a court order), or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Helpy Innovations Inc., our users, or the public.

To provide full functionality, the Helpy Connect app requests access to certain features on your device:
Location: To show you relevant, nearby job posts and helper profiles. You can enable or disable location services through your device settings.
Files/Media/Photos: To allow you to upload and attach images, videos, or documents to your job posts or in-app chats.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account credentials.

If you delete your account, we will initiate the process of deleting or anonymizing your personal information from our active databases, unless we are required by law to retain it (e.g., for fraud prevention, tax, or legal compliance).
